Home Team is a well-established Sheffield-based supplier of sustainable energy solutions that provide homeowners and businesses with innovative and cost-saving energy installations that include solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and EV chargers.
Simdure were tasked with creating a new brand identity and website to carry Home Team forward into a new era with the focus of the business shifting from fossil-based fuels to sustainable and renewable forms of energy. The branding process involved the creation of a versatile pentagonal-shaped brandmark constructed from five interlocking segments which combine in a rotational formation to suggest continuous motion or energy production. Each of the five segments of the brandmark also represents one of the five Home Team service sectors of solar, battery storage, heat pumps, EV chargers and smart tech. The brand identity was paired with a versatile and vibrant colour palette with each of the service areas assigned a specific colour.
The project progressed to the design, build and delivery of a brand new website to provide a digital platform for the newly created Home Team brand identity with a focus on a clear and straightforward user experience.
